School Picnic at Waikanae Pools

On Tuesday we went as a full school by bus to the Waikanae Pools. What an awesome day of fun we had there! There was swimming (of course!!!),water balloons, and sack races!

About Room 8

We are a Year 1/2 class at Otaki Primary in Otaki, Kapiti, New Zealand.

In a school that also offers Te Reo Immersion and Bi-lingual Education, we are part of the English Immersion pathway which caters for a range of culturally diverse students of whom we are proud. Some of the students in this syndicate are of European descent and others and/or their families have come from China, Fiji, Japan, Tokelau, Tuvalu, Samoa and the Cook Islands. We embrace biculturalism and also enjoy the richness and diversity presented by the many cultures here.
